It´s just so funny that the US has the biggest porn film industry in the world and still everyone goes crazy if you can see a nipple in the TV…

The thing with prostitution being legal in Germany is that if its legal that means it can also be government regulated meaning they will come and check your establishment there are rules that all women working in this industry get regular check ups that places are clean etc etc and it also means no illegal business. Most importantly it gives does women who choose to do this for a living rights and also protection. I believe that it has made the industry safer. Also generally we have a saying which basically translates to let other people live their lives because we honestly dont care as long as you are happy and safe. Also, I think young adults are eased into getting more responsibility as they get older otherwise it would be too overwhelming. This also includes sex ed … saying to someone dont do it probably will still lead them to doing it… but if you make sure they are educated and know what its all about and how to be safe actually means teens are more responsible when engaging with one another.

We have a very strong Puritan influence from the early days of the founding of the USA, so that influences our attitudes towards sex. In the USA middle school is 6th to 8th grade, sounds a bit young for kids to be engaging in sex. Things have changed a lot in the last few decades, kids graduate from college with huge tuition debt and with the cost of housing a lot do move back to parents home. Depends on where you live in USA, in cities like NY and Philadelphia, kids are more sophisticated, and do travel are public transit by themselves.

My father was a good Christian man who put it as “Of course you will want to have sex, God made you that way”. That is why you need to guard your thoughts and watch how you interact with the opposite sex; otherwise, you may end up having sex with someone else other than your future wife. If you really, really want to have casual sex with her then for goodness sake protect yourself with a condem. Remember the purpose of sex is to make babies and have a family.
It appeared to be an approach between the American and German approach. ( I am mostly German even if I grew up in America of right from Germany grandparents) Now that I am old enough to tell my step-daughter the same thing; I have to agree with him ” the German’s are too loose about it but the Americans are, especially the Christian community, is to quiet about it. Let’s face it, you can’t ignore that God created you as a sexual being and he even added” that sex within marriage should be wild and wonderful”.Well, not in those words but the book of the “Song of Solomon” tells of how sex should be between a man and wife and it is well pornographic.

Before I was 10 years old, I lived in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Greece, Holland. From that experience, and then later as an adult, the so called “German” attitude toward sex and nudity is pretty much similar Europe-wide. Even the most surprising were similar attitudes in Eastern Europe and the European portion of former Soviet Union. By comparison the yanks are puritanical prudes.

the USA is the richest country in the world but u still find it too hard to make a FREE national health service. HAHA!
