I’m willing to trade my US Citizenship for Germany! Whatever! Rules are rules! Follow then! Forget the life you had in the US. Forget everything you know. Start a new life in Germany. Adapt to the people, culture, and lifestyle! To be German, you have to think like one. Berlin, is my destination. Germany! We can do this!!!

My German girlfriend had her worst culture shock here in Belgium when I crossed the road though the light was red, but the street empty. She could barely comprehend why people would do that. :p

My first ever day in Germany was a Sunday. I got off the plane at around 6AM, so at first, I understood that stores were closed. But then, even later during the day, I just kept wondering “where IS everyone?” XD
