➤Description (Civ 6, Civilization 6, Civ VI, Civilization VI)

The next entry in the award-winning Civilization franchise

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is the next entry in the award-winning Civilization franchise, which has sold in over 35 million units worldwide, including more than 8 million units of Civilization V.

Originally created by legendary game designer Sid Meier, Civilization is a turn-based strategy game in which you attempt to build an empire to stand the test of time. Become Ruler of the World by establishing and leading a civilization from the Stone Age to the Information Age. Wage war, conduct diplomacy, advance your culture, and go head-to-head with history’s greatest leaders as you attempt to build the greatest civilization the world has ever known.

Civilization VI offers new ways to engage with your world: cities now physically expand across the map, active research in technology and culture unlocks new potential, and competing leaders will pursue their own agendas based on their historical traits as you race for one of five ways to achieve victory in the game.
FEATURES

EXPANSIVE EMPIRES: See the marvels of your empire spread across the map like never before. Each city spans multiple tiles so you can custom build your cities to take full advantage of the local terrain.

ACTIVE RESEARCH: Unlock boosts that speed your civilization’s progress through history. To advance more quickly, use your units to actively explore, develop your environment, and discover new cultures.

DYNAMIC DIPLOMACY: Interactions with other civilizations change over the course of the game, from primitive first interactions where conflict is a fact of life, to late game alliances and negotiations.

COMBINED ARMS: Expanding on the “one unit per tile” design, support units can now be embedded with other units, like anti-tank support with infantry, or a warrior with settlers. Similar units can also be combined to form powerful “Corps” units.

ENHANCED MULTIPLAYER: In addition to traditional multiplayer modes, cooperate and compete with your friends in a wide variety of situations all designed to be easily completed in a single session.

A CIV FOR ALL PLAYERS: Civilization VI provides veteran players new ways to build and tune their civilization for the greatest chance of success. New tutorial systems introduce new players to the underlying concepts so they can easily get started.

Leaders & Civilizations:

In the Early Access Preview of Civilization VI you can choose between 10 of the 20 leaders which will be
available in the full game
GERMANY, led by Frederick Barbarossa
NORWAY, led by Harald Hardrada
JAPAN, led by Hojo Tokimune
KONGO, led by Mvemba a Nzigna
GREECE, led by Pericles
SPAIN, led by Philip II
AMERICA, led by Teddy Roosevelt
SCYTHIA, led by Tomyris
ROME, led by Trajan
ENGLAND, led by Victoria

Apostles are what you need to combat Spain’s religion, every time you “kill” an enemy religion unit you spread you belief for a 10 tiles radius (I think) around your unit and at the same time suppress the opposite religion in the same area.
Also these 2 first Apostles could be used to evangelize beliefs, with that you can still add 2 more beliefs (total of 4, you already have 2) to your religion, and gain more bonuses from your religion.
Be aware that Spain has an Apostle near you island, and they may attack your religious units.

Also you probably should get some builders and improve more tiles, you have so many that haven’t been improved yet…

Nice. I keep hoping to find the secret to building a good relationship with other civs here. They all seem superfast to decide I am an undesirable in my game.

Hello Biffa, i find it a little sad that the episode has been shortened to 30 minutes. I would like the 45 minute format back for this game. Hope you and your family have a good weekend

Thanks for another entertaining episode Biffa 🙂 If you didn’t prerecord the next one, watch out for the “enemy” apostle at the bottom right 😛 ~ 27:22

I can’t tell by my own evaluation; is this worth buying? I play Civ 5 and an upgrade would be nice, but it is a great game.

There are cliffs along some of the coastlines. That might be why your missionaries sometimes take odd routes – they may not be able to embark or disembark at the cliffs.

Darn… Watched this one late. The evangelize beliefs upgrades your current religion to give it more bonuses 🙂
